
CHRIS STENZEL| Chief Executive Officer
Chris Stenzel is CEO of Avivia Health from Kaiser Permanente. Before assuming his current role with Avivia, Chris held leadership positions within Kaiser Permanente’s medical group and health plan areas, including strategic planning, information technology operations, and business development. Chris was also responsible for Kaiser Permanente’s venture capital, mergers, and acquisitions, and corporate development activities. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, Chris was a senior manager with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
JEFFREY M. DAVIS, MD MPH | Chief Medical Officer
Jeffrey M. Davis is the Chief Medical Officer of Avivia Health from Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Davis brings over 15 years of care management/disease management experience to Avivia. He comes to Avivia from LifeMasters Supported SelfCare, Inc., a national Disease Management Organization based in South San Francisco, where he served as the VP of Medical Affairs and National Client Relations. Prior to that he held the position of Senior VP/CMO in a large integrated medical group in San Jose, CA.
Dr. Davis received his MD from the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in NYC and completed his pediatric residency at the University of California, San Francisco/San Francisco Kaiser Medical Centers. He also completed his clinical fellowship in medical genetics at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center. He is board certified in both specialty areas. After his training, Dr. Davis held full-time, academic teaching positions at the University of Wisconsin and University of New Mexico Schools of Medicine. He also received his master’s degree in public health (epidemiology) from the University of California, Berkeley.
PAUL J. WALLACE, MD | Medical Director for Health and Productivity Management Programs & Senior Advisor, The Care Management Institute and Avivia Health
Paul Wallace, MD, is an active participant, program leader and perpetual student in clinical quality improvement, especially in the areas of performance measurement, evidence based medicine and disease management. As Medical Director for Health and Productivity Management Programs in Kaiser Permanente’s national Permanente Federation, he now leads work to extend KP’s experience with population-based care to further develop and integrate wellness, health maintenance, and productivity enhancement interventions. He was previously the Executive Director of KP’s Care Management Institute (CMI) from 2000 – 2005 and continues as a Senior Advisor to CMI and to KP Healthy Solutions, the KP disease management company established in 2005.
Dr. Wallace, an Internist and Hematologist, joined KP in 1989, and has participated on KP’s program wide New Technology, Research, Guidelines and Diversity Committees. He is currently a member of the Institute of Medicine Board on Population Health and Public Health Practice, and the Committee on Performance Measurement for NCQA. He is the Board Chair for the Center for Information Therapy, and is also a Board member and Secretary for the Disease Management Association of America (DMAA). He has previously served on the National Advisory Council for the Agency of Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), the Medical Coverage Advisory Committee for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Medical Advisory Panel for the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Technology Evaluation Center. In 2004 he was recognized by DMAA with the Karen Coughlin Individual Disease Management Leadership Award.
LISA FRY | Vice President, Sales & Client Services
Lisa Fry is the vice president of Sales and Client Services for Avivia Health from Kaiser Permanente. Before assuming her current role, Lisa served as the director of Business Development for Kaiser Permanente’s Georgia region. She led sales and marketing, product development, and market analysis and planning for all lines of business, including Medicare, individual and group plans. Before joining Kaiser Permanente, Lisa was a manager in the National Health Care Strategy Practice at KPMG Consulting, where she provided advisory services focused on strategic and business planning, partnership evaluations and negotiations, financial analyses, and market evaluation.
KEVIN WOODARD | Chief Financial Officer
Kevin Woodard is Chief Financial Officer for Avivia Health from Kaiser Permanente. Before assuming his current role, Kevin served as CFO / COO of Sterling HSA, a leading Health Savings Account Administrator. Kevin has 25 years experience in health care finance administration. His prior service includes positions as: Vice President of New Ventures with Health Net, Inc.; Contract Compliance Officer with USAID, Moscow Mission; Director of Cost Management, Kaiser Permanente, Hawaii Region; and Chief Financial Officer, Redbud Hospital.
MELODI LICHT, RN, MSN, CCP | Vice President, Clinical Services
Melodi Licht is the vice president of Clinical Services for Avivia Health. Before joining Avivia, Melodi was senior director of Clinical Knowledge Management for the Care Management Institute, where she coordinated the development of evidence-based, high-quality clinical content for Kaiser Permanente’s electronic medical record. Melodi’s previous work also included coordinating and directing activities related to population care management activities in Southern California. Melodi has a Masters of Science degree in Nursing from the University of California at Los Angeles and is a DMAA certified Chronic Care Professional.
BARRY CAMBRON | Director, Marketing & Business Development
Barry Cambron oversees Avivia Health’s overall marketing strategies, product portfolio growth and diversification, and strategic partnership development for Avivia. Barry also leads the pricing, proposal management and corporate communications functions. Before assuming his current role, Barry served as the manager of Strategic Marketing and Planning for Kaiser Permanente’s Georgia Region. He led the region’s marketing strategy, market assessment, and membership forecasting work. In this role and his former role as Senior Business Consultant, he was also a key contributor to the KP Georgia Region’s strategic planning processes. Barry’s professional experience also includes work with a start-up physician practice management company and a role as Director of Planning and Research for an integrated delivery system in Birmingham, Alabama.
Barry has a Master of Science in Health Administration and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
NATHAN PETROVAY | Director, Technology Solutions
As the Director of Technology Solutions, Nathan Petrovay oversees the development and continued innovation of Avivia Health’s technology applications and business infrastructure. Nathan comes to Avivia with extensive experience in software development management, strategic technology deployment, and business analytics, with a particular emphasis on start-up ventures. Prior to coming to Avivia Health, Nathan worked for CoreObjects, an offshore software development consultancy. During his tenure with CoreObjects he managed the design, development and deployment of commercial software applications for numerous start-up companies spanning a variety of industries including finance, legal, and health care. Nathan’s professional experience also includes product development for telecom network management software companies, Lumos Technologies and Micromuse, Inc.
